Diamondbacks 23 Indians 1

The Diamondbacks secured their first win of the season after a game with the Indians. The Diamondbacks started Robin Oxley-Luyster, who pitched 4 very strong innings for the win.

The Diamondbacks’ bats were strong.  Solid outings from Noah Basgaard (5 for 5, with 2 Home Runs, one being a Grand Slam, 10 RBI, and 3 runs scored), Dominic Biscotti (4 for 4, with 2 doubles, 6 RBI, and 5 runs scored), Michael O’Toole (4 for 5, with 2 doubles, 2 RBI and 4 runs scored), Steven Surabian (3 for 4, with 2 RBI, and 4 runs scored), Tatum Warren (a single, with 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored), Patrick O’Toole (2 for 3, with 2 runs scored), Thomas Senior (a single, 1 RBI, and 1 run scored), and Brendon Sheard (2 runs scored).

The Indians had production from Chase Kinsky who drove in an RBI on a fielder’s choice, scoring Logan Miller, and a nice double by Ryan Mctigue.  They received help from Ian Tayloy (Prep Red Sox) and Brand Curtis (Prep Rangers), who were called up for the game.  Both got on base.

Good luck to both teams with the rest of their season.
