The Mets and Giants faced off last night at Dean 1 under beautiful weather conditions.

Angad Pannu gave all his effort on the hill going 3 1/3 innings for the Mets.  The A train gave up no hits, 8 K's, and 2BB.  Antman Manolakos came in again in middle relief and was a spark plug for his team.  Anthony "G Man" Giampapa closed out the 6th with 2 K's.  The Giants had some great pitching and defense of their own.  Sota Matsuda, Ryan Moss, and Brendan Parisi struck out 15 Mets batters collectively.  They battled all night and got themselves out of some tight jams with men on base.

Offensively, the Giants were led by Isaac Diaz (2-3, triple, RBI) who smoked a ball to center and drove in Ryan Moss in the bottom of the 4th.  Ryan Moss BB and scored a run.  Griffin Walsh hit a booming double in the bottom of the 5th and went 1-2.

The Mets were led at the plate by Brendan Lyonnais who had the game winning RBI in the top half of the 3rd and finished 3-4 with 2 singles, double, and 3 RBI and scored a run.  Chris D'antilio went 2-2, with an RBI and BB.  Eddie Aloupis went 2-3 with 2 singles, BB, and 2 runs scored.  Justin Lee went 1-4 with a single.  Antman Manolakos went 1-3 with a single and Jadon Dumont went 1-3 with a single.

These two teams have a lot of good ballplayers and are looking forward to having a fun packed season.
