It was a nice Spring evening at Coolidge 1 on Wednesday night where the Royals traveled to take on the Mariners.  The Royals were patient at the plate scoring 2 runs on 5 walks by Jacob Harrington, TJ Hutt, Jackson Mitchell, Brady O'Connell and Ashton Glynn.  Mariners pitcher Daniel Gonzaga settled down to strike out the next 3 batters.  In the bottom of the first, the Royals sent Brady O'Connell to the mound who quickly struck out the side.
End of 1st inning:  Royals 2, Mariners 0

Gonzaga walked one and struck out two before the Mariners called on Jrake Baez to pitch.  Baez walked one before striking out the last Royals batter of the inning.  O'Connell also struck out the side again in the 2nd.
End of 2nd inning:  Royals 2, Mariners 0

Top of the third showed patience at the plate again by the Royals scoring 5 runs on walks and a strong single by Wes Tuttle.  O'Connell came back out and struck out the side in the bottom of the 3rd.
End of 3rd inning:  Royals 7, Mariners 0

Top of the 4th, Mariners pitcher JT Simone got two quick outs with a strike out and a nice play at first on a hard hit by Maxwell Mitchell.  Then the Royals showed their patience again scoring 5 runs on walks and a hit by Ashton Glynn.   In the bottom half, O'Connell struck out two more batters before Tian MA broke things up with a single.  Eli Gray came on to pitch.  Mariners showed their patience at the plate this time around scoring 3 runs on walks to JT Simone, Jrake Baez, Daniel Gonzaga, Gino Leardi, and Marcus Ding.  Jackson Mitchell struck out the last batter of the game as the sun was starting to set.
