PLAY BALL!!!! It was a beautiful night for the American league rematch between the Tigers and Orioles. James Troy took the mound for the home team Orioles. Ryan Iagallo got on base after being hit by a pitch. James got Carter Marques to hit into a fielder’s choice that forced Iagallo out at second base. O’s ace got Luke Gallo and Dylan Fanale to fly out to Harrison Miles deep in left field.The Tigers sent Fanale to the mound to face the O’s. He got off to a good start when he got Matt Raffi to ground-out to second base for the first out in the bottom of the first. Ryan Keddy would single in the next at-bat to get things rolling for the Orioles. Drew Peris earned a walk putting base runners on first and second base. Josh Hamm singled to left field loading the bases. Next up for the O’s, Patrick Kane got hit by a pitch forcing in the first run of the game for the home team. Landan Gray knocked in the next run when he hit into a fielder’s choice when Luke Gallo, made a nice play in the hole at short to get Hamm out at third base. Fanale got Harrison Miles out to retire the Orioles bats. After one inning of play, the Orioles led 2-0.

James returned to the mound for the O’s. Jake Brodeur hit an infield single to get things rolling for the Tigers. James got Colin Marques and Luke Willingham out after long battles at the plate. Gillian Woodcome earned a walk, but was stranded as Ace Tyrell grounded out for the last out of the top half of the second inning. Luke Gallo took the mound in relief for the Tigers. He was able to retire James for the first out of the inning. Yuta battled Gallo and hit a single. Gallo buckled down and got Harrington and Huang out in order to get out of the threat. After two innings, the Orioles held a 2-0 lead.

Drew Peris took to the mound in the third inning. He retired the side, Iagallo, Bachini, and Marques, in order.Ace Tyrrell relieved Gallo in the third inning. Matt Raffi led off the inning with a double. Keddy was retired for the first out of the inning. Peris hit a RBI single, scoring Raffi. Tyrrell would get Hamm and Kane out to end the threat. After three innings of play, the Orioles extend their lead to 3-0.Peris returned to the mound for the top of the fourth inning. Gallo led off the inning with a single. Peris got Fanale to fly out to right field for the first out. Jake then grounded out to first base. Colin Marques battled Peris (like a veteran) and earned a walk. Both runners would get stranded on base as Peris got Willingham to ground out, short to second base. Due to bad weather close by, the game was called in the bottom of the fourth.Great game by both teams. Good luck in the playoffs!
