EVANSVILLE, Ind. —The once meat-and-potato-based palate in the Evansville area keeps expanding.

Members of our local ethnic communities have not only opened restaurants introducing us to Indian, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, authentic Mexican and Chinese, Central American, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. We also have a wide and ever-growing range of ethnic markets where we may access the ingredients to cook these foods ourselves. Many are attached to cafes or restaurants where the food is particularly authentic.

We did a run-down of all 11 of our local ethnic markets so you can visit them.
