US Chamber Delegation Lunch
ACCI was delighted to host a senior business delegation from the US Chamber of Commerce in Canberra on Wednesday.
The delegation, headed by Senior Vice President and Head of International John Murphy and Executive Director, Southeast Asia John Patrick Goyer, also included senior corporate representatives from key industry sectors, AmCham Australia chief executive officer AprilPalmerleeand senior representatives from the Australian Government andthe US embassy.
In the lead-up to the US presidential election, the delegation provided a valuable exchange of views on the future of Australia-US cooperation and trade and investment priorities.
UK Election Webinar
With only a week before the UK elections, ACCI held a webinar featuring Worley’s global head of government relations, Andy Burwell. He explored the likely outcome and its implications for Australian businesses across a range of industry sectors.
ACCI chief executive officer Andrew McKellar opened the webinar, followed by a lively Q&A session facilitated by ACCI head of business development and international affairs Chris Barnes.
